Members of ACIS(S) shall also enjoy
the following privileges and benefits.
1. Continue support, recognition and assistance by government
institutions like Economic Developement Board (EDB), STB, CASE and
Ministry of Education (MOE) as well as other relevant government
agencies.
2 Specifically, ACIS(S) website will be linked to STB’s
website to provide greater visibility and as an endorsement by STB.
STB will not recognize any service provider that is not a member of
ACIS(S). It will only assist in promoting ACIS(S) and
its members to its overseas counterparts, related institutions and
bodies.
3 The accreditation by CASE will provide members with a reputable
endorsement and recognition. This accreditation is only available to
ACIS(S) members.
4 ACIS(S) will conduct Training and Development courses
specially designed to enhance member skills and best practices
capabilities.
5 CASE will also act as a mediator for ACIS(S) members and
their clients in the event of any misunderstanding or dispute.
6 ACIS(S) members may advertise their services in the ACIS(S)
website.
7 While promoting and marketing the services of ACIS(S) and
its members, there will be opportunities for ACIS(S) to
recommend and distribute businesses to its members.
8 Through networking among ACIS(S) members, complementary
service providers may enjoy the benefits of synergies through
association with fellow members.
9 ACIS(S) members may be invited by STB or ACIS(S) to
be part of their delegations during overseas marketing and promotion
exercises or roadshows
10 ACIS(S) will prepare and introduce standard package of
services for its members and overseas students. These may include
sponsorship and guardianship of students, student familiarization
and support programmes.
11 ACIS(S) will represent its members in government and
professional bodies and articulate their professional interests and
concerns.
12 ACIS(S) shall regularly update its members with
information and matters related to the profession either by
circulars or newsletters.
