ACISS
was formed to serve the needs of the education industry and to be the
link between the international students, schools, related education
institutions, local and overseas agents, associations, government
agencies and the industry.
The formation of ACISS was initiated in early 2004 to complement the
Government’s effort to promote Singapore as a world class
education hub. ACISS was formally inaugurated on the 30th of
November 2006.
The main objectives of ACISS are the promotion and protection of its
members’ interests, the education providers, the students, and the
overall reputation of Singapore as a quality education centre.
The members of ACISS shall be individuals and organizations engaged in
activities related to overseas students studying in Singapore. While
working towards these objectives, ACISS members are expected to abide
by its Constitutions, By-Laws and Code of Practice.
These will define a minimum standard and quality of service as expected
of their respective professions. A key requirement of ACISS members is
the certification and accreditation by CASE, a significant
qualification that qualifies their trustworthiness and standard of
professionalism.
